  As good as it gets! This classic small storefront NJ luncheonette proves why NJ diners ROCK! And this place does, the walls adorned with classic rock and roll LPs, the staff attentive and friendly and the breakfast here was amazing.

  Rolling Stones, Sticky Fingers, Beatles, Sgt. Peppers lonely Hearts Club Band, Abbey Road, Elvis, Led Zeppelin II...all look like original issues (gasp!), lining the upper walls. Cozy booths, tin ceilings, stainless steel counter faces... it's like eating breakfast at a rock n roll museum!
  
  The western omelette never comes with American cheese, but I believe it's a match made in America, and Benny's obliged to a spectacular resulting omelette. The home fries looked delicious in other Yelpers photos, but my Diabetes forbids me from indulgence so I had them give me a small amount well done and they were amazing.
  
  My most excellent and sweet waitress Rosie kept my cup full and made my belly smile, and I just had to share it as I am eating here, it's simply that good.

  There's only one Benny's. Hospitable, homey, and old school, it's where our neighborhood goes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Delicious offerings and ample portions, the place is just plain tasty. I would say more but then TOO MANY people would come and I wouldn't get a seat. As for Benny's Bakery just next door, the very BEST ice cream on the planet is made fresh there. I'd say more but then aliens from another world might come and steal the formula, ending my vanilla ice cream addiction. Benny's is a great place. But keep it to yourself and go when you can...

  Amazing place for breakfast/lunch. Friendly staff, great food/drink, and an old time feel that puts you at ease. The bakery that they own 2 doors down makes it even better! I'll gladly take a cronut to go after my hearty meal!
